Motorized Winch
A one-horsepower motorized winch is the operator for our EZ
Fold basketball backstops. Our winch delivers 1000 lbs. of vertical
lifting and 1500 lbs. of horizontal line pull. Designed to hold
the backstop at any position when raising or lowering the backstop
with the turn of a key. The cable drum is helically grooved
for 1/4", 7 x 19 aircraft cable. The grooves provide proper
spooling of the cable and ensure excellent repeatability of
stop positions. The drum is equipped with a pressure roller
with torsion spring tensioning. It ensures that the cable tracks
in the grooves even under slack cable conditions. The winch
has a direct drive, double worm reduction system. No oil lubrication
is required. Automatic limit switches control the distance of
travel in either direction. Entire winch assembly is UL listed.
A 3-position momentary key switch and cover plate is supplied
with each motorized winch. |

Smart
Gym Control System with Touch Pad
As
an alternative to a key switch, our electronic touch pad enables
you to control your basketball backstops, gym divider and other
Draper electrically operated gym equipment, all without keys
or individual switches. It can also be used to provide power
to your lighting, scoreboards and other non-Draper equipment.
Safety First—Only
the keeper of the programmable four-digit security code can
access the system, so unauthorized persons cannot operate your
gym equipment.
Save Money—Because
the Smart Gym operates on 24 volt current, you can save big
money by eliminating lengthy 115 volt conduit runs from the
control station to your gym equipment. |

Winch
For ceiling height under 26', the
EZ Fold backstop may be operated by a manual winch with a removable
handle. The winch features double worm-gear reduction with a
36:1 ratio and composite gears to make the unit virtually maintenance

EZ Power
Remote
Eliminate complicated, expensive wiring, wall boxes and individual
key switches with a radio control system. Equip each Electric Backstop or Divider winch with a 503023 EZ Power Receiver/Operator. The EZ Power portable
hand held transmitter is capable of operating up to 27 individual
EZ Power Receiver/Operators. Power supply for the
hand held transmitter is a standard 9-volt battery. Operating
range is at least 125'. Requires item 503020, a 9-station transmitter
or 503021, a 27-station transmitter. |

Posilok Safety Belt
Safety belts are recommended on all backstops, especially those
suspended over bleachers or playing areas. The Posilok™
Safety Belt is self-checking, automatically resets and is virtually
fail-safe. The maximum weight of a suspended load is 1000 lbs.
The Posilok Safety Belt checks the speed of the rotating reel
six times per revolution and will instantly lock if the speed
exceeds the trip point of 1-1/2 feet per second. Belt includes
a maximum extension indicator and breakaway loop to indicate
if the Posilok Safety Belt has been tripped. The Posilok Safety
Belt has been cycle tested to 30 years of typical gymnasium
usage with no significant wear or deterioration of the unit. |
