Can
be stationary or traveling. If traveling, they can move end first
or sideways.
Constructed
of a welded steel frame, with two cable system assuring balanced operation.
With
the Draper Mat Lifter, cables are attached to the welded frame and
pass through sheave blocks attached to the load bar connected to fabric
slings.
Each
Mat Lifter has a 210:1 ratio double reduction worm-worm gearbox attached
to an instantly reversing 2 HP motor, operating with the choice of
208-, 230- or 460-volts in 3- phase, and includes a 6 lb./ft. electric
safety brake.
Lifting
drums are machine synchronized for cable wrap and driven by a 210:1
ratio gearbox. Drum shaft is 1-7/16" diameter cold-finished steel.
Continuous
straps wrap completely around mat to stop map from falling should
the fabric sling become torn.
The
two steel lift cables are 5/16" 6-strand, with 37 wires per strand
and a fiber core. These cables are rated at 1704 lbs. each at a 5-to-1
safety factor.
The
load bar is connected to a 22 oz. per square yard vinyl fabric sling
with heavy-duty straps and fasteners.
For
safety purposes, the sling capacity governs the lift capacity of the
system. |

Optional Traveling
Kits Move
your mat from balcony to adjoining storage area above the gym floor
by installing a Traveling Kit.
Mat travels at ceiling height, either end first or sideways, to the
optimal position and then lowers to the floor.
Mat Lifter travel kit is driven by a 1/2 HP motor operating with the
choice of 208-, 230- or 460-volts in 3-phase attached to a 60:1 ratio
gear box with non-pneumatic wheel(s).
The End First Travel Kit has two 1-ton machined trolleys with festooning
power cables.
Sideways Travel Kit has four half-ton machined trolleys with festooning
power cables.
