Motorized front projection screen.  Operated by remote control or wall switch. Convenient.

Manual  front projection screen.
Pull down type. Less expensive, but limited selection.

A permanently tensioned front projection screen. Viewing surface is stretched flat over a frame which is mounted to or inset in a wall.

A rear projection screen.  Projector sits behind the screen. Provides best picture especially if there is a lot of ambient light. More costly than front projection screens.
