The Straight Style Basketball Post Set includes a horizontal extension crafted from heavy-walled galvanized tubing and a vertical post fitting. The 5-9/16” (141 mm) OD straight post and 6' (1.83 m) adjustable height extension, provide robust support for both the backboard and goal. The horizontal extension can be installed from 0' to 10' (0-3.05 m) above court level. The backboard and goal are bolted directly to the post, creating a solid unit. This design transfers the load to the heavy-duty steel post, reducing strain on the backboard when a player hangs on the goal. The post is capped to protect it from the weather.
