The Straight Style Basketball Post Set features a horizontal extension made from a heavy-walled galvanized tube and a vertical post fitting. It includes a 4-1/2” (114 mm) OD straight post with a 4' (1.22 m) extension that can be installed from 0' to 10' (0-3.05 m) above court level. The backboard and goal are bolted directly to the post, forming a solid unit that transfers load to the heavy-duty steel post, preventing strain if a player hangs on the goal. Post is capped for protection from weather.
