FlexStyle^® Cassette Motorized 485 AC offers a stylish window shade with an intelligent quiet motor, perfect for residential and commercial use.

The FlexStyle^® Cassette Motorized 485 AC delivers a premium window shading solution with a quiet, intelligent 3-wire motor and built-in encoder. Designed for versatile applications, it seamlessly integrates with lighting systems for enhanced automation. Choose from square or curved cassette profiles with premium aluminum endcaps, available in six stylish painted finishes or a fabric-wrapped front panel (open bottom hardware only) for a customized look. Finished cassettes offer open bottom or bottom return options, with the bottom return improving light control when paired with optional "U" channels. The cassette ships fully assembled for quick, hassle-free installation—ideal for seamless upgrades.

CHILD SAFETY NOTICE: This product complies with ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022-Child Safety Standard and has been Certified Best for Kids™ by the Window Covering Safety Council.

Accommodates a 2-¾” (70 mm) bundle diameter max and up to 8’ (244 cm) width.

Curved cassette dims: 3-7/8” x 3-7/8” (98 mm x 98 mm). Square cassette dims: 4-3/8 x 3-7/8” (111 mm x 98 mm).

Optional light control brush available.

AC motors use line voltage. Motors can be parallel wired (daisy chained).

Bus distribution allows various devices and controls on the bus line to efficiently communicate.

Enable centralized control for advanced operation and facility management using building controllers.

Secure moisture-resistant connection to line voltage with an M12 connector or Plug & Play option using a three-prong NEMA plug.

Hardware available in black, taupe, grey, white, warm white, and anitque bronze.

Fabric-wrapped cassettes are available only with open bottom hardware.

Cassettes with painted finishes are available with either an open bottom or a bottom return option.

Sensors are available for reading real-time light and weather conditions.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper^® window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
Approved permanent warning label attached
Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
